Join us for the landmark first Heke’fest. The only place on earth you can enjoy this festival of fun, friends and craft beer from Waiheke Brewing Co and whisky specials and cocktails from our Waiheke Whisky.

The Flaming Mudcats kick off at 4 pm, and rolls into a DJ set with DJ Alisha. If the weather is great this is all outdoors, if not we’ll nestle this under the Verandah.

We will have the smokers going to with kiwi BBQ meets USA long-slow meats, as well as our burgers and pizzas as you’d expect!

You can join in for a $20 cover charge: general entry to enjoy The Flaming Mudcats, DJ, drink and food specials and all the fun and entertainment that lasts from 4 pm til close after 9 pm.

Or take it up a notch as a VIP for $80 you’ll have a looong 6 pm dinner in the Barrel Hall featuring a kick off with a commemorative take-home The Heke Stein, filled with your choice of our craft beer, or a flute of Billiecart Champagne. We’ll serve you a feast of long-slow cooked meats and salads, the Boilermaker Bar and bathrooms on hand – and you can wander the area enjoying the entertainment knowing your VIP seat is there for you when you get back.
