Our friends the Tempest Blues Band will open this show at Hamilton’s Nivara Lounge. Tempest are a new Hamilton blues band built on honest playing, smoky vocals, and grooves that make people move. The band leans into the raw edges of blues, the smooth warmth of soul, and the grit of old‑school rock and roll, shaping it into something that feels current without losing its roots.

You can see why that dovetails perfectly with The Flaming Mudcats style of music, making a great evenings entertainment for anyone who likes real music made the old fashioned way with real instruments and from the heart.

(Although Nivara Lounge is going to be demolished for a new development it is going strong in the meantime, but best catch The Flaming Mudcats this time around.)
